I first met CherylMarie at a wedding fayre when I was first engaged. I loved the dresses and had a great chat with her and her husband.
I have since ordered my 3 bridesmaids and 3 flowergirls dresses and they are absolutely stunning. You wouldn't believe the detail in them and the quality of the workmanship. I cannot recommend them enough.

What an amazing woman Cheryl is. She is perfect to work in teh wedding industry. My Dress was absolutely AMAZING. From start to finish Cheryl had the patience of a saint and truly reassured me at every single step. She advised in relation to the style and colour etc and just could not do enough for me. Came across MBFGW online and after flicking through the photos of the dresses and seeing how little they cost I just knew I had to make an appointment!!
CM was just fabulous to deal with let me try on lots of different styles and I found two perfect dresses and couldn't choose!! She told me I could add/take away anything I wanted on them as well for no extra cost basically designing my own dress for about 1/4 of the price you would pay in boutique stores!
I was so excited to get the call that my dress had arrived and it was beyond perfect.. It looked a million dollars and I felt a million dollars in it :) - would recommend MBFGW to anyone looking for a fabulous dress also I ordered my veil too which was stunning!
CM will go out her way to do whatever she can for you :))

Quite simply ... if you want to be married in a dress beyond anything you have ever dreamt of, trust MBFGW. I am writing this with tears of utter joy in my eyes having just received my dress from CM this morning. It is beyond stunning, it is beyond beautiful, it is beyond anything I have seen in shops for 4 times the price. It is just absolute perfection. Even the pictures on the website don't do CM's dresses justice. I am a born worrier and CM has e mailed me, texted me and talked me through every step of the way. Yes it is her job, but she goes the extra thousand miles and has lived and breathed every moment to ensure I had the dress of my dreams. I have inspected every single millimetre of the dress (told you I was a worrier!) and every minute detail is faultless and utterly beautiful. This woman is incredible and had I spent thousands of pounds, I still wouldn't have been able to find anything better. Every girl dreams of her wedding day her whole life and I never thought I would trust an online shop hundreds of miles away, run by a woman I have never even met! But I will thank my lucky stars forever that I did.x x x

I had already found my perfect dress before talking to CM. Then one day on facebook she put a picture up of the dress I'd seen already. I had a conversation with her and found her so friendly that it made me want to order it from her rather than the other place I'd seen it. As I'm down in Wiltshire I couldn't try it on but loved it so much that I ordered it. So I was very trusting to order from someone I didn't know and get a wedding dress that I won't try on till it was all made for me. Did I ever regret it?? No way. CM is helpful, very friendly and totally trustworthy. I adored my dress and still do and so wish I could wear it again. I got tons of compliments about the dress on the day and one of my friends jaw fell open when I said how much it was, they couldn't believe it was so cheap yet had such amazing detail and was so beautiful. I felt like a princess all day and looking back on my wedding photos I'm so happy with my choice. Thank you CM for helping to make our wedding day extra special and still fit completely in our tight budget.

I came across My Big Fat Gorgeous Wedding on facebook, I was planning my wedding for July 2012 and I was looking for the perfect dress to wear on my big day!
I contacted CM from MBFGW and we arranged an appointment for me to go to and visit her and discuss my requirements.
I went to CM's showroom in her lovely home without trying a dress on at all or visiting a bridal shop... I felt nervous/scared about ordering a dress that I wouldn't see until it arrived but when I seen the quality and detail of the dresses that CM supplies, my doubts disappeared. I left the initial appointment totally trusting CM and I felt like I had known her for years.
Sooo I picked my dress from a picture in her albums, I loved it straight away and I knew it would suit my shape and it was exactly what I had in mind, whilst I was at my initital appointment I also decided I was going to order both my daughter's flowergirl dresses from MBFGW....
CM kept me as up to date as possible throughout my order being processed, She is very friendly and helpful and answered all my little questions along the way.
My dress arrived in plenty of time, around 4 weeks before my wedding. I couln't wait to go and see it and try it on.....
I seen my dress hanging opposite a mirror and i couldn't believe my eyes, my dress was STUNNING!!! It fitted perfect and I loved it. Everyone commented on my dress on my big day, it was gorgeous.... the quality was outstanding, if i had went elsewhere for the same dress I could easily have paid 5x the price of what I actually paid MBFGW.
If you want the dress of your dreams at a really affordable price then MBFGW is the place to go.
My flowergirl dresses arrived shortly after and they were equally as stunning, they looked gorgeous on my girl's and they felt like little princesses.

I got chatting to CM back in October 2011 when I was looking for my wedding dress and my maid of honour dress. I was very wary about ordering online as you hear all these horror stories but CM soon put my mind at rest. CM was very helpful and gave me lots of advice, I very quickly trusted her 100% which was really important as I lived in Manchester and she was in Scotland.
Well the maid of honours dress was perfect and fitted her so well, it was exactly what we wanted.
When my dress came I have to admit I was a little nervous about opening it just incase there was something wrong, but I really had no need to worry. It was AMAZING and everything and more that I had always wanted and as soon as I tried the dress on I felt like a princess and my mum described the dress perfectly, she said it was exquisite.
I can not thank CM enough for everything she has done and for helping give me the most amazing dress, everyone commented how gorgeous it was and I felt like a real princess on my special day.

I should done this about a month ago, but here goes. I was worried about ordering online after hearing several horror stories but I just could justify spending nearly 1200 quid in a shop.....But after looking on the internet I found my dress on this site. CM took care of me and kept me well informed thorough out the process. And my dress? My dream dress arrived and I fell in love immediately. It was perfect fit and everyone at our wedding kept commenting on my unusual dress (it was ivory with purple detail)

I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from My big fat gorgeous wedding, really loved them, were easy to order came quit quick and were reasonable priced i received a lot of compliments on the dresses too, also ordered my wedding bouquets for myself and b/m loved them too couldnt ask for anyone better to help me getting the things i needed would def recommend to friends and family just wish i knew her before i got my wedding dress :)

I started chatting to CM soon after my partner and I WON a wedding at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire.
CM helped me with my dress choice and didn't bat an eyelid when I changed my mind 6 months later.
My dress will be unique, it's one of CM's dresses but with tweaks made to my own taste and I can't WAIT TO SEE it! Only 44 days to go!
I think of CM as a very good friend and trust her implicitly.
Buy from her! You won't regret it!

Well what can i say??? FAB FAB FAB, CM is an amazing lady who was fantastic throughout all my contact with her, no matter what time (day or night) she was there for me, even with my silly stressed bride questions!! My dress was ordered very late due to me losing weight and when it arrived it was too big but even this was not an issue, CM sorted all the alterations too, my dress and BM's dress is amazing!! Exactly as i pictured them both with an amazing personal service to go with it, i would recommend MBFGW to anyone, absolutely OUTSTANDING service, thank you so so so much xxx

Just a wee note to say thank you so much for your help the other day. I know that our wedding is quite some time away but it was really great to be able to try on the dress that I liked to see if it suited me! I loved every minute of it and trying on all the other dresses that would fit me really helped me to know what suited me and ultimately the dress I will get. And it's great you can get the dresses made for the bridesmaids/female ushers - it would've cost a fortune to go elsewhere! I will be back (as you know!) to get things ordered when I've booked the venue and have a date to work to! Thanks again for all your advice and encouragement - I can't wait to actually get a dress ordered! At such great prices too!! x

I went to see CM today , and were Welcomed by her lovely little Assistant (Son) Oliver, who is only just three and ever so Cute.
After the lovely welcome we went to try on some dresses and Dress number two was the ONE for me.
Its AMAZING!!! I cant wait until the day of the Wedding. Oh, the Veil I bought, also to die for.
Both look so elegant.

Have just been for my first visit and wasn't expecting to find a dress, thought I would try a few on at least and get some ideas - there was a very warm welcome awaiting me and a very friendly face :) the whole experience was great, easy no pressure, dresses were absolutely gorgeous with outstanding quality and detail in every single one - also great that you can pretty much take ideas from any dress and create your own :D anyway I fell in love with two dresses so have put a deposit down and planned my second visit to make the final decision which I'm very excited about :) well worth a look you may find everything your looking for xxx

I ordered my wedding dress from my big fat gorgeous wedding and couldnt be more impressed!
Any issues i had with the order were resolved extremely quickly, she is always on the phone, or just an email away.
Ive now ordered my 3 bridesmaid dresses, and cant wait for all four dresses to arrive !
Shes flexable on payments, totally hassle free!
All in all i am extreamly happy with the service i have recieved, and i now class her as one of my good friends .

I've had the best day, ordered my bridesmaid & flower girl dresses & am sooooo happy!!
I went to the actual showroom & seen some sample dresses (which were all gorgeous, fabric, detail, sparkle were all equally amazing!!).
I cannot wait to see the finished result & neither can my bridesmaids! Also found out today that I could order my accessories, veil etc through MBFGW and seen some gorgeous ones that are beautiful & a fraction of the price you pay in most bridal shops!

Ordering my wedding dress online never crossed my mind until I discovered how difficult it was to find the exact dress that I wanted. Before finding My Big Fat Gorgeous Wedding, I narrowed down my dress choices to two styles that I found online. The only problem was that I loved the top of one, but the bottom of the other. The next step was a full day of trying on dresses, which was fun, but also unproductive. I knew exactly what I wanted, but couldn’t find it.
I was so happy to know that I could get the exact dress that I wanted for a very reasonable price. It was so easy from design improvements for the style of my dress to the delivery well in advance of my wedding date. The thought of ordering a dress online may seem frightening, but the results speak for themselves. Honestly, I wish I had another occasion to wear it to! Your dresses were absolutely gorgeous (as the name suggests lol) and I couldn't believe the quality of them! Ive looked at dresses 4 times the cost of yours that were of the same quality and in some cases not even as good to be honest! When you showed me the stitching I was really impressed, and the strength of the corset loops filled me with lots of confidence seen as I'm on the large side hehe!!
